Dirksland Trust doesn't store chemicals on the leased farms so there is no chemical inventory. Chemicals will be used on farm by the lease so the following is general information to be considered when working with chemicals on Dirksland Trust property in conjunction with procedure and training of the chemical owner and operator.

Particularly hazardous chemicals typically found on farms include drenches, insecticides, herbicides, acids and alkali, veterinary drugs like hormone treatments, and dosatron nutrients. Chemical injury ranges from toxicity, irritation, corrosive, damage to organs, and reproductive effects. Some key knowledge for farm chemicals:

PPE must be worn when using chemicals in accordance with their safety data sheet.

Safety Data Sheets

If a chemical injury occurs show the doctor the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for the relevant chemical. If you can't find it below try a search on the internet or ask the supplier of the chemical to send it through.
